<p>A utility for collecting internal GPU state,
<span><strong class="command">nvidia-debugdump</strong></span>, is
included with the NVIDIA Linux graphics driver. After installing
the driver, you can run this utility by running:</p>
<pre class="screen">
% nvidia-debugdump
</pre>
<p>in a terminal window.</p>
<p>Detailed help information is available via the --help command
line option, or when no parameters are supplied.</p>
<p>In most cases, this utility is invoked by the
<span><strong class="command">nvidia-bug-report.sh</strong></span>
(/usr/bin/nvidia-bug-report.sh) script. In rare cases, typically
when directed by an NVIDIA technical support representative,
nvidia-debugdump may also be invoked as a stand-alone diagnostics
program. The "dump" output of nvidia-debugdump is a binary blob
that requires internal NVIDIA engineering tools in order to be
interpreted.</p>
